On April 28, according to foreign media reports, Apple announced that it has launched the iPhone self-repair program announced at the end of last year, which will enable iPhone users to perform some repairs at home.
At present, the official website of the repair plan has been launched, but it is only open for the United States. The supported devices are the entire iPhone 12 series, the entire iPhone 13 series, and the iPhone SE 3. The repair plan will also be launched in Europe later this year.
Specifically, users first need to review and learn the repair manual for their product and the specific repair process on the Apple Support website. After that, they will be able to order the required parts and tools from the self-service repair shop and start the repair.
At the store, customers can get access to more than 200 individual parts and tools, media said. Apple said it plans to expand the store later this year to offer repair tools, manuals and parts for Macs with Apple Silicon chips.
