One Button Membrane Switch

The one button membrane switch refers to a type of membrane switches, whose graphic overlay and circuits are made on the copper clad PCB. Its main characters include convenient material purchasing, stable technical process and low electrical resistance, and some components in the circuit can be directly welded on its back. In the case of small area for components of the circuit, the circuit spacer can be omitted and cost is cheaper.

The one button membrane switch generally adopts metal dome as conducting contact in the circuit layer, so it has better hand feel.

The disadvantage is that it is not as convenient as flexible membrane switches when it comes to installing the membrane switch into a whole machine. It is often necessary to weld the components on the lower circuit layer and use flexible cables for the leading-out circuit.

For the signal feedback of one button membrane switch, in addition to the LED indication, metal dome is widely used.

In its membrane switch design, we have developed a new cutting die. In the process of die cutting, four plates are assembled and cut together, so the corner material is reduced by three quarters.
