Various indicative patterns and words on the membrane control box switch are printed on the back of the graphic overlay to represent the operation area of the corresponding switch key position.

The thickness selection should depend on the size of the membrane pcb switch and its keys. If the material is thick, the contact force is increased and the response is slow. If the material is too thin, the touch is poor and the rebound is not obvious. 

A thickness of more than 0.25mm is called a plate, which is not suitable for three-dimensional key forming. It can be used as an indicative sign panel without key operation area, or as a lining plate for membrane push button switch to improve its hardness.

The substrate material for making the circuit shall be polyethylene terephthalate (PET for short). It has good insulation and heat resistance, high mechanical strength, transparency and air tightness, especially folding resistance and high elasticity. It is an ideal material for making circuits inside the membrane button switch.
